I picked up a copy of Walden by Henry David Thoreau to read this summer. Your first image made me think of the practice of simplicity and the connection to nature in that practice. I also checked out the other spaces through your link and realized what kinds of spaces i simply could not be creative in! Jammed packed, messy, dark wouldn't work for me! Thanks for sharing.
